Since 2009, the team at Indemnity Legal has been assisting clients access cost-effective and personalised legal services. Indemnity Legal provides specialist legal services in insurance, commercial and insurance dispute resolution, contract review as well as general commercial and personal legal services. Kevin Gibbons, principal of Indemnity Legal, has been acting on instructions of a national Professional Indemnity Scheme for surveyors and allied professionals (ACSIS) including litigated claims Australia wide for many years. Kevin is co-author of the Liability Risk Manual published for surveyors by ACSIS. Indemnity Legal is accredited by ACSIS to provide hotline legal services to members with regards to contract review as well as legal areas generally. We also manage a raft of public liability risks inside substantial self-insured retentions. Indemnity Legal also handles a broad range of legal assistance to the clients of Steadfast IRS and Network and assists Steadfast IRS and Network in providing added depth in relation to their dealings with their clients.

Kevin is a leading legal professional with an extensive career spanning 43 years. Kevin is the principal lawyer for Indemnity Legal, whose services cover a broad range of law including insurance disputes, contract review, claims management, general commercial law and disputes including building law and general personal law. The practice provides broad legal assistance and advice to Steadfast IRS, Network Insurance Group and their clients, including a large national PI scheme for construction professionals and members of the scheme. Kevin is knowledgeable, skilled and highly regarded as acting in the best interest of his clients. Kevin is a qualified lawyer and accredited mediator. He has acted in many significant insurance and liability cases, presented at industry conferences and contributed to notable insurance publications.

Brad is a lawyer with Indemnity Legal who specialises in professional liability, building and construction risks and public liability. Working with Indemnity Legal since 2011, Brad has gained extensive experience in the day-to-day management nationally of litigated and non-litigated claims. His experience extends across most Australian jurisdictions and he has been involved with proceedings in common law and specialist courts in many States. Brad’s knowledge and experience with matters in the building and construction industry includes successfully acting in respect of recoveries under the building and construction industry security for payments legislation and also successfully defending complex litigation in the Technology and Construction List in the NSW Supreme Court. Brad also manages direct legal services to members of a national professional industry scheme and its members and to clients of Steadfast IRS and Network Insurance Group. Brad has carriage of matters in all other practice areas conducted by Indemnity Legal. Brad regularly contributes articles to ‘ACSIS News’ and other industry publications.
